Вся жизнь - театр
Yesterday I was at the conference in Heidelberg-centre as interpreter. The main subject was humans health and how environment affect it. Spokesperson was a woman from Sweden. Her name was Ingrid and she came here with her husband Yen. She talked a lot and audience was interested in subject of the lecture. But also it was quite difficult for me, because I had to memorize large amounts of information and than interpret it. Of course I'm sure that I did a lot of mistakes as an interpreter, but that was my first time after the University. I tried to do my best. The lecture lasted for 2 hours and all this time I had to stand, hear, translate and talk. Actually that was a great experience for me and now I know that I can be interpreter. But never the less, there were unpleasant moments - I knew that organisers don't pay me money but they didn't even say "thank you" to me.
